Fall Play/One-Act

Theatre CHS is proudly producing both a Fall Play and a One-Act this semester!

Our One-Act piece, which shall also serve as our Theatre For Youth production is going to be Alice in Wonderland. The performers will compete for the Virginia High School League on Oct. 31 (district competitions held at Monticello High School). Alice in Wonderland will grace the Black Box stage Oct 22-24th.

The Fall Play, which will be December 3-5 is going to be Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream which shall be staged as a 1930’s Radio Drama production in the Black Box theatre! Performers will focus on their articulation and vocal capabilities as they explore the creative process of Radio Plays. The performance will be “live recorded” and available for podcast listening!

The annual One-Act play for the VHSL theatre competition in 2007 had been announced! Senior Rebecca Willingham will be directing the musical “Alise in wonder land” . Stay posted for information about acting and musical auditions in the first few weeks of the school year!
